Taking more than 15 years of corporate management experiences and education, Scaleable Ventures began as a small marketing consulting company in 2014 but quickly found success coaching and supporting all facets of developing new and existing businesses.
Bryan Shaw, MBA
Bryan is a lifelong West Virginia native, a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and certified GrowthWheel advisor, with 15+ years of experience with Fortune 500 companies in product development, marketing, and B2B Sales. In 2014 he launched his first consulting company, Bryan Shaw & Associates prior to expanding and launching Scaleable Ventures, Inc. and Co-Founding the marketing platform Two Cents and a local coffee roasting company, Hill Tree Roastery.
Past experiences have brought him opportunities to partner in entrepreneurial initiatives with Marshall University, the WV Department of Education, Robert C. Byrd Institute, Advantage Valley and the WV Small Business Development Center to provide business coaching to those looking to start a new business or expand their established business.
He most recently developed the curriculum and program for WV’s first Global Accelerator Network member business accelerator, TEN50, through the Robert C. Byrd Institute. In its first year, the program worked with 20 WV based startups as they developed, launched, and expanded their businesses.

Beginning in 2000, Bryan began his corporate career with two years of B2B sales, followed by 12 years in management in sales, product development, project management, and marketing which eventually lead to the founding of Scaleable Ventures, Inc.
Scaleable Ventures, Inc. began as a small marketing consulting company in 2014 but quickly found success coaching and supporting the startup community through state and local partnerships. The company now offers startup consulting options with certified GrowthWheel advisors for seed, startup, and growth stage companies, as well as established firms looking for help with expansion plans and exit strategies.
Advantage Valley & SBDC
In January of 2015, Scaleable Ventures partnered with the Small Business Development Center through local Economic Development Association, Advantage Valley, to provide startup consulting and business management assistance to local entrepreneurs in the southern part of West Virginia.
Startup Weekend WV
Partnered with Marshall University to create and host WV’s first Startup Weekend in Huntington, WV. Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams hear talks by industry leaders and receive valuable feedback from local entrepreneurials. The weekend is centered around action, innovation, and education.
Governors School of Entrepreneurship
Provided startup coaching services to the students participating in the innagural WV Governor’s School of Enterpreneurship. The WVGSE is a three-week, intense experience open to high school students currently in 9th through 11th grades. The young innovators will learn about business models, design thinking, and scaling new startup ventures. There will be team competitions, a pitch competition, and the opportunity to actually launch a new business venture. In fact, every young innovator will be an entrepreneur by the end of the fourth week.
As Managing Director for TEN50 Accelerator, Bryan developed and launched WV’s first Global Accelerator Network member accelertor. TEN50 supports early-stage and growth driven technology companies through the RCBI Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center. TEN50 provide a 3 month extensive mentor network, educational sessions with experienced leaders, seed funding, access to investors, and a rich entrepreneurial work environment to launch new business startups.
